Shane is the Managing Partner and one of the founders of the firm. She is also a qualified business consultant having attained a Certificate of Executive Education under the Effective Director Executive Program from Strathmore Business School.

She has over 15 years’ experience as a legal practitioner and has also ably supported several Company boards in restructuring their compliance and governance reporting. Shane is the Head of the Corporate Law and Family Functions of the firm.

Shane was the Treasurer of the Uganda Law Society for two years and sits as Director and/or Company secretary on several boards.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws from Makerere University; and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre in Kampala. She also holds a Master of Laws in International Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation from the University of Warwick, UK. She is also a Court appointed Commissioner for oaths and an accredited mediator and a registered and practicing Insolvency practitioner and Liquidator.
